Josh Jenner began orienteering at the age of three, mainly because his parents were keen orienteers and it was a good family activity.
Growing up, it was both a passion and a hobby. Most weekends, Josh would attend orienteering events around the country.
Throughout school, Josh competed for Great Britain and travelled all over the world with the sport. A particular highlight was attending a training camp in Sweden, the home of orienteering, and learning to adapt his orienteering skills to tackle the tricky terrain.
Josh was fortunate to receive a lot of great coaching and support from the South East Junior Regional Squad and club coaching.
In order to give something back, Josh made it his goal to educate and pass on his knowledge to others, in particular school children.
As a result, he set up his own business, Josh Jenner – Orienteering Coach & Mapper, in 2009.
Josh Jenner – the Company
Josh Jenner – Orienteering Coach & Mapper operates out of Debden House, in the heart of Epping Forest. Debden House is only 30 minutes by tube from central London.
